Are you tryin’ to start something?

There are an infinite number of things you could start doing, that you’re not doing now.

How about starting something that will improve what you’re doing already?

Whether you’re a “Creative” or a Plumber, there’s one way you can immediately begin to improve your work. Start writing.

Write about your problems. Don’t go for brilliant flourishes of prose. Instead, process the problem, make lists, expand on ideas, or doodle yes/no diagrams.

If you run a plumbing business, one of your biggest challenges is a dependable, skilled pool of employees. Write about it 20 minutes a day for a week.

If you’re a content creator, write about what to write about.

Don’t google it, read about it, or talk about it.

First write about it.

Processing information and making decisions are two of the primary success skills in any enterprise — writing will make you better at both.
